Texas Thanksgiving weekend Campout?

Kc dyno day

Hope to see you there HVAC. What has the Rocket been running lately? I have not see it run since Vegas. And does anyone know if Doug, Eric, or Christian are coming down for the event?

Of course I'll be there!!! :D I won't be racing :( , but I'll be there!!! :D

No one from BD will be there last I heard. Jeff Prince is comming, least that is what I heard through the grapevine. You can read about him here. David Lott, owner of Diesel Innovations/the promoter for the diesel class of this race, has heard from LOTS of folks claiming to have super fast trucks, but we'll see who shows up.

now for lunch and dinner 2 complete different orders at each meal, can't loose energy in the day at hand, and a very nice Cigar to round out the day with a few Vodka's and Oj please. .

Thanks TDK for filling in for me, your humble servant and driver... and wishing I was there to have a meal with Daisey and the other racers who show. .

ABOVE. . ALL MEANT IN GREAT FUN !!

10-4 on the food there Gary, I will invest on a HUGE refregerater to old all this food for our special guy. We have to feed him, and help him grow so that he can play with the big boys one day (11. 99 and faster). ;)

I'm hear and reading HVAC... ... unfortunately (sp) thru the powers that be at work (and seniority) I will be unable to attend. One supreme "A" hole decided he would take his comp. time off this particular weekend... ... . and at the last minute   . So instead of just having to be able to be contacted in an emergency, I have to work.

I offered to work his next two on weekends if he would hold off and work this weekend... ... . no dice!!!!!! He wants my Christmas and New Years weekends, which he passed up on to string together 4 summer weekends... ... . He has me by about 9 months Seniority wise and plays it to the hilt.

I told him yesterday, pay backs are HE!!.....

If anyone arriving early needs secure parking area for their rig, I can assist. It is about 23 to 25 miles away from the track but very easy to get too and from. Also has covered area for working on trucks. It is owned by a fellow CTD owner who is not a TDR member but keeps up with stuff thru me. If you guys want shrimp I can supply, but you will have to cook them yourselves. I can lone you my cooker for boiling or frying.

It really pi$$es me off that some folks I work with act the ways they do. Life is to short to be constantly messing with someone just to see them squirm. I am still working another angle but am not counting on it working out. I sure hope the weather holds... . anybody else around Houston seen the extended forcast for the weekend??????

RAIN!?!?

You mean the race could be washed out?

Man, I don't wanna tow eleven thousand pounds over

four thousand miles to watch the rain come down in Houston:(

Sorry to hear about that mess there Shrimpy.

HVAC, Not sure when you plan on leaving, but I would keep a close watch on the weather... ... It ain't lookin good :( . Don't want to discourage you or anyone else from coming but that is quite a haul. It never fails, plan something in Texas with more than five minutes worth of thought and the weather will zapp you... ... ...

Just checked weather channnel and it's says 60% chance   .

Houston, We Are No Go

I think it's official now, we are in "No Go" mode.

My sidekick BIG Adam is not going to be able to make the trip and help me pilot the tow rig. He was going to do the driving duties on the strip too. The biggest problem is we are experiencing mechanical difficulties at the moment. This is a good example of time and money being spent to R&D new trick experimental stuff:( Things just don't always work first time outta the box

We will solve our problems here and get to either Sacramento or Sears Point Raceway to test. I'll let you know how it goes. But for now we won't be

heading to Houston:{

You mean to tell me there is not one Dodge in the Texas area the can beat a little old Ford??? That is ridiculous. I can't believe Nowel has to drive all the way to Texas just to take care of one Ford.

Who's Gonna Win Now?

According to the TDR mag, Jeff Prince would be capable of high 12 second times. That should do the trick. Other then that, Jetpilot was making noise like he might set sail down that way.

Maybe if we all take one performance item off our trucks and send it to TDK, he could bolt on a few hundred horsepower and put it on them boys;) Take care of business you see:-laf :-laf
