Texas Thanksgiving weekend Campout?

Kc dyno day

Nowel,

Since you and TDK both have 2wd extended cabs.

You can just UPS him your Engine and transmission.

A situation at Mailboxes etc. comes to mind.

Idea

Since Texas Diesel Kid is our unofficial ambassador to this event, maybe ya might mention the concept of postponing this thing till next weekend? It looks like it's going to be a mud bog this weekend.

JWilliams, if my engine were to wind up on one of those PSD powered UPS trucks is would take light years to arrive in Houston:p

If you want to send some parts, I think I can hadnle it!!!:D

Yes Jeff Prince is rumored to be heading this way. Along with some other fast trucks I know. Jet is going to MiR because of family reasons, and besides I have seen him run already!! I want the REAL red rocket, not the dorf version. ;)

Maybe if we all take one performance item off our trucks and send it to TDK, he could bolt on a few hundred horsepower and put it on them boys;) Take care of business you see:-laf :-laf

HVAC,

see you can't to do that either, that means Andrew would have to hook up that wire and we all know he can't do it!:p :p

Since you are in a generous mood, I have an alternate address to send the parts to, if you need one;) :D :-laf :-laf :-laf

Glenn,

It would mean a toasted transmission, untill I get one in the mail!!!:D It would be great because both HVAC and I and short bed, extended cabs, 2wd, and autos.

There is another one of these that "If all goes well, we will do it again" kinda deals for Nov 16 @ River city Raceway - San Antonio, TX. Just come on down for that shin-dig. Just think if you run some 12's, get a vendor space, and bring a whole pallet of Edge EZ's. You'd have enough to sponcer me, so that you wouldn't have to make that long drive ;) , not to mention the winning payout.

before you UPS me your engine......send the transmission, but hold the engine......

Stright from the mouth of the powerjoke boy... .

Listen up,

Friday 10-25-02 at 12:00 noon we will make the decision to call off the race so,

If you or some one you know is coming from out of town you can call at that time and you will know to come on or turn back. The rainout date will be November 16th at www.rivercityraceway.com in Marion,tx.

#'s to call are 713-984-9441 or 281-728-8292

Also look at his siggy, 13. 2, i can varify that. There is WAY MORE still left for him to do.

Is that David with the white Powerstroke?

If so,, I raced him after the dyno event in Dallas,, I was gonna beat him for sure, but then he hit the propane and beat me by about 1 car length.

If this thing cancels to the 16th near San Antonio, I'll be there, maybe even with a side show.

Too bad it's rainy weather,, this has been in the plans for awhile.

Here's the official word:

The weather forecast for October 25th, 26th & 27th is for 80% - 90% chance of RAIN.

We feel it's in the best interest of our Racers, Sponsors, Vendors and Fans to go ahead and cancel this race. Unfortunatley, we do not have a rain out date for this race.

We have many racers traveling from out of state and many of these racers have called with concerns about the weather and they do not want travel with a 80% - 90% probability of bad weather.

If you have bought a spectator ticket at O'Reilly Auto Parts, your ticket is good for any Clash of the Titans race in 2003 or at our last race in San Antonio November 16th.

The race November 16th will be a DOUBLE POINTS race and we are going to try and offer some bonus money for Fastest ET's and Fastest Qualifiers in all classes.

If the November 16th race in San Antonio is rained out we will have the race Sunday November 17th at River city Raceway.

It is a unfortunate aspect of Drag Racing, that the weather is a issue that none of us have any control over.

We look forward to seeing all of you in San Antonio November 16th at River City Raceway!

Freddy Cruz & Keith Campbell

We will still have the open house at Diesel Innovations Friday night and all day saturday for those that have nothing better to do on a rainy day.
