2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Radiator 0-rings

Has anybody ever changed out a leaky o-ring in their radiator tank?

How much of a pia is it?

I didn't do it on mine but watched a friend do his. Only took a couple of minutes to slide out the male portion and put the o-ring on. I recommend that you lube it up with some silicon grease before reinstalling.

In the drain plug.

Thanks, that makes more sense to me... I could only think about muffler berrings when I saw the post.

I'm talking about the o-rings that seal the plastic tanks to the copper core.

Not even mentioned in the shop manual

A radiator shop might be able to do it for you.
