Radiator crack

Has anyone had a problem with the radiator cracking down the side of the metal surface where the plastic side tank mounts to the radiator? Is this repairable or am I going to need to look for a used one?

I was told that it isn't feesable to fix one beacause of the way that it is constructed . However opinions vary. I bought a new one locally for my 96 for 260. 00 and after checking around , I found that that was a smokin' deal.

Same here, I changed my brothers 96' CTD radiator for him. Took it to get it fixed and they said it was better to buy a new one. I dont think I paid over 250 for it.



The new one was a 1/4 inch ticker. Like he really needed it on these trucks.
