Quick question, just got my truck back from the dealer today, replaced the fuel lift pump under warranty (guess that makes me part of the 216/1693 club! Actually got a 230 also about 2-3 weeks later and a tow truck ride. ). Anyways, While it was there I figured I would have them flush the radiator since it was a little overdue, well actually 20,000 miles overdue! I know, I know but I figure I paid them probably $45 for labor and I wouldn't have to do it and it would get done right. Well now I am wondering. Here is my inexperienced question. Before the flush the coolant color was a dirty brown. I figure if the flush is done right, it should resemble a fluorescent green
. Is this true? I have no problem paying anybody the money IF the service is done correctly and the result is positive. Well, 10 minutes after leaving the dealer I stopped for fuel and decided to check the color and level of the fluid. It is still brown!! Should I be worried, should I call them back? Thanks.
