Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Radiator hoses

Getting close to needing to change radiator hoses out (no damage or anything but 8 years is starting to push my comfort level).



I would love to go with silicone hoses but the really can not spent that kind of money on a full hose kit. Does anyone know of a vendor that just sells the upper and lower hoses in silicone (Google search did not find any).



If not what are the best traditional rubber hoses to get? Dayco, Goodyear, etc???

IMO, those little heater hoses by the firewall need to be silicone more so then the radiator hoses. With all the heat thrown by the turbo back there. If you plan on keeping the truck for any lenght of time, you know what you have to do !

As far as I know, the stock hoses are silicone.

Not on a 2nd or 3rd gen. Only hose that MAY be is the one thats kinda hidden under the exhaust manifold.
