My OEM lower radiator tank-plastic, is leaking where it joins the metal core. Anyone know if Modine or anyone else makes a all copper/brass radiator.

I was curious about sourcing one too (same trk) and I just talked to a guy (Dwight 800-395-3889) at Radiators.com that claimed to have a Modine w/o plastic tanks for about $300. I only talked to him on line so you would have to verify things on the phone.
Personally I couldn't find any definitive info anyplace that an all metal rad is avail.

If you don't approach the limits of the cooling system, go down to a 7# cap. It will save a lot of stress on your radiator, heater core, and hoses each time the engine is heated and cooled.

My friend here in vegas make cooper and brass radiators, for anything... . cool stuff... if you want info let me know... . he can ship

Found "Built Tough Radiator" who makes an all metal 3 row for about $380. 4 row for $410. Got the 4 row and it is plenty tough and heavy. OEM is one row, which never worked well here in the Rockies if you were towing heavy in the summer. However, changing the radiator means disconnecting the intercooler tubes as the lower radiator brackets stick out. So, Google "Built Tough Radiator". Makes radiators for a variety of vehicles.

The 7# cap will not stop the leak once it occurs, its purpose is to prevent the leak in the first place by reducing the cyclical stress on the cooling system components.
