it only leaks on drivers side when the truck is cold

it does not leak when truck is not running

when engine temp goes up the leak stopes

is this the hoses on the lower radiator that go in to the transmission

if I remove the thermostat i bet it will stop

it leaks untill the thermostat opens

would this tell us that it is a hose

if it where the radiator it would leak all the time rite#@$%!

I don't think it is the radiator, maybe check your freeze plugs. Try to find exactly where it is leaking from. I has to be coming from the head or block since it only leaks when cold.

when things get hot they expand so that might explain why the leak stops when the truck warms up. it might be some type of fitting or somethin. if you have no sense and listened to my advice for some reason, you could fix the leak by putting a raw egg yoke in your radiator and the suction from the leak would suck up the egg yoke stopping the leak. but then you would have an egg in you radiator(the whole egg yoke part was written w/ sarcasm, i dont expect you to do that). :)

You have to find the spot its leaking from if its from the radiator you need a new one. If its leaking from where the hose goes to the radiator you can try to tighten the clamp or replace it if its the spring loaded one. It may also be the hose. This is not one of those things you can diagnose over the internet. You have to find where it is leaking from so you can decide what and how to fix the problem

Look carefully at the seams where the tanks are crimped on to the radiator itself. This is a pretty common place for leaks.
