Oo. I am removing the radiator from '01 24 valve and am struggling with removing the radiator overflow and WS washer reserviors. It appears very straight forward but can't get them to move up far enough to remove them from their slots. Don't want to use the "bigger hammer" method and tear things up. Also, is the radiator drain valve just a 1/4 turn valve? It will only turn a quarter of a turn, but nothing happens??

After you turn the radiator drain plug, pull it straight out. Not sure about other items. If you don't have the maintenance manual, suggest you purchase the CD. It's well worth it.

The overflow and windshield wipe res just need a long screw driver in the middle and pry out. If you look at about mid level there is a nipple built on the tank that fits in a slot on the shroud. pry and pull up at the same time and its money.

Just finished installing one today...

Good timing! - I just finished installing a new radiator in my 99 at 5pm today. Disconnect the overflow hose and pull up on the overflow tank and it should slide right out. The wiper fluid tank is a pain the a**. Disconnect the pump power connector and low fluid sensor connector. Pull up while pushing against the two tank indents. The tank won't budge up unless you push those indents.

Apply plenty of cussing when reinstalling the wiper fluid tank. It looks like it should just slide right back in , but it ain't easy... #@$%!
