My lower end cap has started to leak at 155k on my 01 Sport. Looking for recommendations, I assume they sell more and less amount of rows etc. Looking for US Made quality.

My Son suggested, reviews are are all over the place.
Mishimoto MMRAD-RAM-94 Performance Aluminum Radiator Compatible With Dodge Ram Cummins 5.9L 1994-2002 $667.44

I read over on CF that a guy had issues with his Mishimoto radiator either on his 3rd or 4th GEN.....something to deal with bolts not lining up correctly for the shroud and/or threads tapped at an angle or incorrectly.

Not sure where they’re manufactured, but I’d at least investigate Denso radiators.

I looked at the Denso but at $117 that concerns me. Going to talk to my parts guy at the local Chrysler and see where the Mopar is made at $360 on Summit.

As a heads up, might be different on an '01. My original radiator had three rows and kept the engine cool until it started to leak. I bought an OEM from Dodge. The new one only had two rows and could not keep up when I was towing. I ponied up the bucks for a 4 row, US built Icebox. The end caps are steel and the system holds almost a gallon more of coolant now. Expensive in most people's book but well worth the money for me.

I searched the Icebox website, but couldn't find one for the 2nd gen truck. It's no emergency for me, I know my radiator is on borrowed time. Many of my radiator fins are green and brittle.

I replaced mine with the Mishimoto back in 2016. Be cautious though because it is 100% aluminum so electrolysis will be an issue if you don't check and make sure all your grounds are good. Mine developed 2 pin holes after having it for about 15 months due to electrolysis. I filed a warranty claim, paid $100 for shipping, they shipped me a new one and told me to just recycle the old one. One other thing to note is that your stock fan shroud bolts are too long and if you tighten them down they will punch a hole into the end tank. I got lucky and mine sealed and didn't discover it until I was removing it to replace it with the new one. I cut my bolts down before installing the new radiator. From what I've seen on their website they now include new shorter bolts for the fan shroud. So far I've been pretty happy with mine.

I wouldn't bother getting one from Chrysler. I got heater core and evap, both were offshore, one made in Taiwan the other in Korea... Best part, other than new heater core leaking instantly, was the box stickers read "Genuine Mopar Replacement Parts" in big bold letters on top of sticker, very small on bottom read made in...
Anyhow, about 10 years back I replaced my radiator with one from Advance. Was exactly as OEM one, still doing its job.

Got a call early from parts guy. The 7 at regional were not there do the system shipped from East Coast to West Coast. He said it would be 10 days. I said no bueno as I am starting to loose a lot of coolant. So I got a premium Carquest with a lifetime warranty for $247. It’s made in Indonesia. Mot thrilled but much better than Communist China. Looks exactly like OE removed just lighter.

Thanks everyone for your comments.
