I found one for $379 at Radiator Warehouse in Timonium. Includes new cap, 2 gallons distilled water and lifetime guarantee



Should be here tomorrow. I'll get new hoses and thermostat to go with it.

Distilled water? Are they going to mix the Anti-freeze with that. Anti-freeze does more than prevent the coolant from freezing. It also has anti-boil additaves and carrosion inhibitors. Regardless of hot or cold country I'd run a mix of anti-freeze and water.

I've seen -83 and +110 no frozen blocks or boil overs yet!

hmmm... . Modine makes a nice radiator for your truk w/ their gold card lifetime warranty as I recall. Autozone used to sell them... Modine has aftermarket branches in virtually every state, they might sell to you direct.



You could try a couple online sellers like http://www.radiators.com



If there is enough tube between the leak and the header you could pinch it off and solder it shut... not a permanent fix though.



for the value of the engine, but a decent rad and be done w/ it.

I know for sure that GM, and I'll bet the rest of the car companies, install stop leak from the factory. You can buy the pellets GM uses from your Chevy dealer.
