Please help:::: I was driving today and the power mirrors worked one second and then the next do not, also the radio does not work. I checked ALLL the fuses and the relays OK I even checked for power at each fuse at each side. I also switched the power window/mirror relays. NOTHING... everything else works: cig lighter, chimes, acc outlet, dash lights, lights, ECT. The truck came without power mirrors and I added them, simple deal they have workes for monthes. Does someone have elec smarts and a diagram If I get guided in the rignt direction I will be OK. THANKS

Check your connection where you put the mirrors in. If they are after market, and you had to tap into a power source, you may have cut the wire, and it broke loose.

Just a thought. Did u check the fuses by actually pulling them out of the fuse block or by just looking at the top? The mirrors and radio is on the same circuit. I spent a day trying to figure this out! when I was putting in my Powervision mirrors and kept blowing the fuse. I spend the day looking at the tops of the fuses in the block and thinking " they all look fine" When I actually pulled them the fuse was popped, but way down by the bottom and u couldnt tell from the top. I now have fuses that have little led's in the top that light up when the fuse blows.

Hope this helps.

J-

did you check all the fuses and relays in the PDC under the hood too?

Most auto parts sell a device that checks the fuses in place, doesn't matter if they're energized or not, for under $10. Sure beats pulling out fuses and doing the visual route. I've run across blown fuses that were hard to spot with just the eyes.

think i found it

I stopped at the dealer this morning they said its the fuse in the special holder in the fuse bock on the dash I think he said its the ISO fuse anyway its the only one I didnt check: it looked to important: BTW the fuses in my 02 have a small piece of metal protruding on the top of each fuse these are for checking with a light or meter on each side. thanks
