2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Radio Controls/steering Wheel

I have a 01. 5 with the controls on the steering wheel. I checked all the obvious with no resolution. Any tips before I really start tinkering aimlessly.

Does the radio operate at all? If not, there may be a fuse on the power feed on the radio end of the harness itself.

The radio operates fine at the tuner, just not a the wheel i. e. volume and fwd/rvs scan

Ive been thinking about getting one my self Did you get one ?

Its called the ABS clockring. It is directly under the steering wheel body on the top of the steering column and it is made of plastic. It transmits the button signals through the column and may have crapped out on you. About a 50 dollar part and you will need a steering wheel puller to get the wheel off and get to the clockring. Takes about an hour to replace.
