Not sure if anyone has come across this before. But about 90% of the time when I start my truck up, the radio is on and all the buttons function, but there is no sound. This morning specifically, it was over 30 minutes before the sound kicked in. I've tried turning the radio off and back on with no success. In the grand scheme of things, it's not that big a deal as I don't always want the radio on in the mornings. Just curious if there is a fix for this. Thanks in advance.

I'd probably check/replace the radio fuse and if that wasn't it I'd pop the trim off and pull the radio to get to the plugs and check for loose connections and pulling plugs apart and re-seating them.

I actually plan on pulling the trim here sometime in the very near future. I'm going to install a USB charger where the little cubby hole is. I'll check the plugs. Thanks for the tip.

I'm also on the idea that you're suffering from cold/cracked solder joint. Has this been happening with both warm and cold temps when starting out? If cold only, I'd focus on a solder joint. Fought this issue with sound production equipment in the winter months for the holiday gigs, when the gear sat in the truck for a week in the cold!
