to Started a couple years agom, when cold, like in the 20's the radio will not power up when the truck is started. But, when it is shut off and restarted after warmed up, the radio will come on. I have checked all the fuses with no luck. Next plan is to remove the radio, but hate to do it when the plastic is so cold, don't want it to break. Plan to install some jumper wires to provide power check points when the problem raises it ugly face. All other accessories appear work correctly.

Has anyone else experienced this problem.

its just the cold messing with the radio... . if it was a blown fuse it would not work at all... . all or nothing... electronics do not like the cold

There was a thead on here a few years ago with the same issue, and I believe it was attributed to the cold.
You would think a few more people would be experiencing it, if it were as simple as the cold though.
