radio issues

im having some troubles with my radio it doesnt always stay on once the truck has started. im thinking maybe ignition switch. any other ideas?

Pull the radio and check all the wiring first.

the radio always comes on in accesory position but when i do the final turn to start its a

50\50 chance it will stay on. the radio has power even when the its not working (the clock still comes on)

Your signature and post don't provide any information as to what year truck you drive or how many miles it has accumulated so its hard to offer meaningful advice.

sorry about that new to the tdr. i just bought the truck about a month ago it came with an aftermarket alarm a viper remote start. the remote start doesnt work, wich makes me think maybe whoever wired the alarm in messed the wires up under the dash for the ignition switch. the truck has 99,250 miles

I had the same problem. Had to go to the dealer and have them re-flash the computer. They have a fix for it. Read this thread to see if your problem sounds the same as mine:
