2012 Radio problems...
When I start my truck the radio loses it memory. The batteries were replaced because I thought, after 6 years, it was probably time and causing the problem. Well, it's still doing it.

Any ideas?

You are not giving much info to go by there, but I was having problems with my radio changing channels all by it's self. Also a 2012 with a 730N-RHR radio. I fixed it by updating the radio software. The fix involved purchasing new mapping software, that also comes with new radio system software. I haven't had any problems with the radio since the updated software was installed. Don't expect much of a change with the new mapping software, but everything does seem to work better. Its not cheap at $150 but it worked.

The radio should be powered up at all times and actually then turned on via a BUS message. So it sounds like the BUS message may get corrupted on start up?

First a hard reset*, then an update, then dealer.
In this order.

*that doesn't mean disconnect the battery, it means push buttons in an order to set it back to factory.
