Radio stations over the net

I used to listen to stations other than in my area for a change of pace on my computer. I dont know if a lawsuit was filed or what happend but alot of stations don't do it anymore. Anyone know why and could you suggest a site that still does give live radio. THANKS

At work our SysAd folks have blocked all streaming audio, and video... ... People were eating up too much bandwidth listening to the radio and watching video links. :-{}

here's the scoop I know of...

Last I heard ClearChannel stopped ALL streams because the actors in commericals wanted more money because they were being heard by more people then they were hired to do.



I listen to this Gruene With Envy . This is the music I love, it's kinda country, with a little rock and roll, or folk, insted of pop. Most people outside of Texas call it Americana, but it's more HonkeyTonk I think.



Be fore warned, after being exposed to this kinda music, I can't stand Kenny Chessany, or Tim Mcgraw, or Rascal Flats.

Just to clear things up, I took it that not just Clear Channel stations removed the stream, but LOTS of stations did it for this reason. This is just one of the legal stories that I know of.
