Radio turns back on after key is removed

I have this wierd problem that maybe you guys could help me with. I have a 1992. Whenever I turn the ignition off and remove the key, the radio comes back on. It may not come back on right away, it may be one to two hours before the radio comes back on. Needless to say, this is draining my battery. I suspect the ignition switch, but do you guys have any other ideas?
