radio working intermitantly

i removed the passenger side battery from my 06 truck. and the radio will work fine with the key in the on or acc. position if you bump the starter or start the truck the radio will not work. then sometimes when you start the truck the radio will work just fine. does anyone have any insight to what might be the problem. thanks in advance for the help.

Did you remove a ground wire when you disconnected the extra set of pos and neg cables and now radio is grounding thru the antenna coax?

yes i removed the ground wire off the fender and block. but i ran a heavy gauge ground from the block to fender to replace the ground i removed.

The antenni is over there, maybe you disturbed the cable from the antenni to the radio? bg

i dont think i disturbed the antenna wire. but i will check. thanks for suggesting that i never thought to even look at that.
