Im getting ready to hook up my rail pressure gauge and stack a edge ez with my tst box just wondered as far as the wireing what gos where? How high of a setting can i go on the ez?

Thanks

What TST box, R37, R49, etc. If only one program on TST what is it, standard, 03Twins or 05 Twins? I assume your TST box does not have rail pressure option.

The rail pressure gauge should be plugged into the rail pressure sensor first, then the EZ and then OEM connector. On mine I plug the TST into the MAP sensor first, then EZ and then ECM connector.

Every truck combo is a little different and your 305 is different than my 325 also.

But with my combo of TST running 05 Twins program and EZ stacked I can run 6/2 on TST and 2 on EZ without draining the rail. Some days I can run EZ on 3 and TST on 7/2 without draining rail and other days not.

With your Duel feed line you may be able to go a little higher. I would start low (TST 5/1 & EZ 1 maybe) and work up one setting at a time to see where you stop making additional power or have rail popping.

Of course a dyno or track helps tuning much quicker.

its the R49 and no it dos not have rail pressure in it. I did have it up dated for the late twins and early twins with the standard program also I am putting dual CP3s on it now and industrial injection said i could run my dual feed line with there set up. so I dont know where to start with the setting standard tst twins and where to set the ez. For now i just need what gets pluged where?

Thanks

That is the same TST R49 I have, everything but rail pressure. So the connections I posted above should be good for you. Like I said you can start a little higher than me, but start low and go up. It took me a long time before my performance guru could convince me to turn things down some. Finally listened and found the spot before the rail drains, but that should not be your problem.

just to make sure I understand it gos rail pressure gauge first to the truck then the edge ez in the middle then the tst last to the main wireing harnes. Are you are running the late twins with this stack? I thought the late twins added fuel Pressure and thats why I got the ez for fuel pressure. I guess I thought I was suppose to run the standard tst with the edge. Let the tst do the timing and the ez do the fuel.

Thanks for your help

I thought you said your TST does NOT have rail pressure option. If that is the case then the TST will not have a harness connector for the rail pressure sensor. Then the EZ is the only one that will connect behind(after) the rail pressure guage, then the OEM connector.

The TST without rail pressure option and monitoring does not directly add rail pressure with any of the programs.

If you have the TST with the rail pressure option and monitoring then the it would go between the rail pressure gauge and EZ connectors. I would not run any TST rail pressure with any other pressure box connected.

No problem, I have the same setup that you will wind up with. Keeping straight what is plugged into what first does get confusing. I had to go out and look the other night before I answered and I have installed and un-installed them quite a few times.

DeDecker,

After you get that stack tuned in good and think it is really running strong. Load a Smarty Wild TM for Aftermarket turbo/injectors. Load SW #9, turn the EZ to 1 or 2, Load TST 05tt, set timing to 3* Auto and HP/TQ to 2/0 or 3/0. Then see if it was really running that strong. LOL

ive heard a bit about the smartys they sound impressive. Hopefully it runs hard the head sould be back on either the end of this week or next along with the twin cp3. Ive been running just the tst but when we pulled it apart this time i made alot of changes like the turbo, head studs, head work, twin cp3, stackin the ez, silicone intercooler and turbo boots, rail pressure gauge, i got my ats intake horn today, ive been told im going to need a better flowing intercooler but I just kinda want to get it running again its been apart for about 3 to 4 months now. hopfully i can get some time on a dyno to do some setting, alots changed since i drove it last.

thanks for your info

Sounds like you will have a very nice setup. You are doing what I ran out of money to finish. Good luck with everything, sounds like a lot of fast fun coming up.

BTW, you will really want a Smarty.
