I'm finally getting around to installing some Autometer factory match gauges in my 06. I really, REALLY hate to remove the factory loom to gain access to the rail pressure sensor wires to tap it in for that gauge. Anyone have a more "elegant" solution? The thought of T-tapping the factory harness makes me shiver. Any other gauge install tips are welcome too, going with boost, egt, and rail pressure. All of the parts are sitting on my workbench just taunting me...

Should not have to tap into harness, just unplug and plug in the RP sensor unit. If you have to tap wires send it back and get one that doesn't require that.

The best place to get Parameters is OBD port. Why add all the extra Wiring. Unless You just like gauges they are Obsolete. At times one must add gauge, oil PSI in many cases needs its own sensor.

The autometer gauge does only use two wires. If nothing else I'll have the connectors to make my own pigtail.

FWIW that pigtail worked perfectly. I don't know why Autometer doesn't offer it. Hopefully that will help someone down the road...
