SPA also has a rail pressure gauge.

Found out my problems were the CP3 though. The Optix gauge did read excessively high though. Roughly 2,000 to 5,000 PSI high as checked with the DRB3 scan tool.

I guess I spoke too soon. Part of it was the spring in my CP3 but the gauge is also bad. Actually made my truck run bad also. Driving it just seemed to add WAY to much timing and rail pressure skyrocketed with no codes to where I pulled over immediately turned the truck off and back on, a mile down the road did it again I kept driving and after 30 seconds returned to normal. I removed the harness and has been running great for a week ever since. I guess I need to see about getting a replacement from Dipricol.

Edge boxes and RP. no real big issues. At times the gauge will read 1 or 2K higher or lower then it should at idle. For example, I know the truck should idle at 6K it will be right at 7. 5K, turn the key a bit to reset the circuit there causing the gauge to "reset" and it will read were it should.

Yup mine dose the same thing!

I have been experiencing this for the last month. On any given day, say I make 4 different stops. Each stop is 20 miles apart and my average speed is 75 MPH. From initial start up to my first stop, rail pressure will read 5k (idle) and 18-19k (Maintaining 75). From first stop to the second, I will now experience 3k (idle) and 13-15k (maintaining 75). Now from the 2nd to the 3rd stop, rp will read 10k (idle) and 23-24k (maintaining 75). From the 3rd to the 4th, it will resume normal (5k idle- 18-19k maintaining 75). Anybody offer any suggestions as to what my issue was. The first time I experienced this, I thought I got some bad fuel or had some algae in the tank as my walbro bit the dust. But now I am a month into the problem, having changed the walbro to a new one, and having run a tank of algaecide. So am I looking at a bad FCA, or a bad rail sensor??? Bad gauge? Anybody have any idea what the issue is, because I sure don't. Thanks for any feedback.

These rail guages are very peculiar little things. I currently have mine sent back to dipricol and a new one on the way. I am thinking of trying quad'

s gauge out. It truly is a pain. Jay

I got one of the first ones when they came out, no problems, functioning perfectly. I also was a little disappointed with the lighting, I like the lighting in the ISSPRO gauges much better.

My pressures are constant, no jumps or fluctuation, same all the time at idle and also at various speeds. I get about a 1K jump when I turn on the Quad STD box to the 1st position(30) and another close to 1K jump in the second position(60). Can't tell you about the 3rd position as I have yet to use it.

Personally I like the old fashioned gauges, the new digitals are nice, but not my style.

Bought mine through the group buy last fall also, have the same issues as others here, but after talking to the selling party and and someone at Pricol, I have not had anyone get back to me on replacing the darn thing, guess we need to be more careful on these group buys in the future!!! #@$%!
