I need a set of 16" long rear axle U bolts from a 4x4 3500 truck. I need a part number or a VIN number from a truck that came with these so I can order them. Cab and Chassis bolts are too large in diameter, regular 3500 truck only please. Any second generation year should be fine. I am lifting the rear of a 2500 truck 1" and need longer bolts.

Thanks for your help,MBanning

I know alot of people who go and have bolts made in this type of situation. I have no idea what the price would be from Dodge or from another parts house, but I'd be willing to bet you could have a set made for less and then they would be exactly what you needed.

Just my $. 02

Thanks WC but I would like to stick with Dodge parts. Anyone else? I know there are 3500 trucks with 16" long bolts, grab a tape measure and help me out if you can.

Thanks,MBanning

I just did u-bolts on my '06 2500 and went to a heavy truck repair place. They took straight rod, threaded on both ends, placed it in a hydraulic bender and bent to the correct radius. Since stock rods were metric, he went to next larger size in standard ( I think 9/16). 4 u-bolts, 4 centering bolts, and all washers and nuts were around $30

I'm looking for the same part and was told by are dodge dealer that they could not get them please let me know if you have better luck. Thanks

As mentioned above, go to a driveline shop. They will make you some for a minimal cost, I wouldn't sweat the fact that they're not OEM Dodge bolts. These places do drivelines and suspension parts for Semi's, I'm sure they're capable of making some that'll work for your 3500.
