waaaaaaas up?

i love the look of those new Ram Dam intake systems. i now have the k&n re 8080 cone filterand am getting sick of the noise. will the ram dam lower EGT's any?what about water intake? looks like a good product. just need a little insight befori i make a decision..... james...

James there are only a hand full of dam airs out there. I make the dam airs and air bull dog hoods. The ones that are out there are on truck that have my hoods they are tied in to the air box so air inters though both the hood and the dam. I built the dam air as a stand alone sys. but so far the people that have seen the two together like them so much they have been getting both. As far as water getting into the intake, the air goes through the front of the dam and makes a 90 degree turn, water is heavyer then air so it hits the back of the dam and the drains out the bottom of the box on the dam. If water should get pass there it still has to go up hill to the air box under the filter. Chances of water getting in your stock box is better becouse the water air comes in level with your air box though the rad. core support.

I have been having a problems getting lites for my air dams from Federal Mogal I designed the molds with there lites and now they are saying that I am to small of fish for them to have an account with so I have to pay as I go I have been over a month trying to get lites. I like to buy from Americans but they are forceing me to buy from some place that would keep our air planes. Thanks for your interest.

Doug

I just got my shipment of lites it only two months getting them. For you do it your selfers I sell just the adapter that goes on the corner of the air box and you can make your own air inlet.

I'm going to be ordering one of the Dam Air, air dams (non-induction style) for my Ram to go with my Air Bulldog induction hood as soon as I finalize the specific Dam Air style (with or without slots) and address my specific needs.

James, you will notice a marked reduction in noise by going to the Dam Air induction system as opposed to the Scotty Air system.
