Ram hood problem

A friend told me that he heard that there was a notice out on the Dodge Ram pickup and that about 300,000 trucks would be recalled to fix a hood latch problem. Has anyone heard of anything concerning this. I live in Ca. and I guess it was on the news. I also looked at the internet to find out about recalls for our trucks but have found nothing. I also saw a message concerning Jim Leonard. I have had him work on my truck and am very pleased. If he goes to Oregon I cant blame him especially leaving southern Ca. I will miss him and wish him luck He is awesome and a pleasure to be around.

The recalls only for trucks in the "salt belt" and since your in Cal. you don't see to much road salt around there. They are recalled because the salt carodes it, and it could fly open while on the road. Not fun...
