I would like to know which would be better to go with.

The High Ram intake from Banks or the same type of unit from ATS.

Both units claim not to void warrenty but Iv heard stories about Banks.

Also, if I changed thie intake would I have to change anything else being that my truck is a stocker?

Thanks for any info.

Ats Arch Flow Manifold

I love my ATS arch manifold, I put it on a week before my SPS 62 and with the stock turbo, the power came on smoother. I have a 6 speed, so I always had a little hesitation, but the ATS arch flow damn near made it disappear. Call the guys at industrial injection and ask about their polished manifold, not only does it "I" think work great, but looks great... I'm going to try and get pics posted of under my hood this weekend. :D Oh, also, the ATS has two taps that you can run a boost gauge or what ever you want through. :-laf

BD out in bc is making one soon too [pre tapped for boost, water/meth... ] gonna wait and see how that looks before i get one to make the underhood area look prettier ;)

[i personally like the bd logo the best of those 3 brands]

there is a post on someone actually losing a little hp and i do mean little from the banks setup. I have it and like it for looks, but believe ats makes a better intake. The design of the banks goes really big than back to small and I guess causes a little restriction whereas the ats does not. I don't know how they compare price wise but I'd go ats if I did it again. Wouldn't mind finding a polished one though

Neither. The stock unit will over-power your transmission,,, so why wast the money? Besides, I have seen the banks air horn installed,,, and it does not line up that straight with the existing plumbing. Lastly, since you have an 05, if you have a plastic intercooler,, spend the money on getting the aluminum one instead of an intake! You will be happier down the road!

Would there be a conflict with warrenty if the IC was changed to the aluminum instead of the plastic??

How much advantage would it give performance wise??

NO. Not sure on performance, but reliabilty is better. There have been lots of blown plastic intercoolers. If you tow, I would make the swap. If you street drive empty like me, the plastic will have to do. Someday, I will relace my plastic POS with an aluminum unit.
