UPS switching fleet to RAM trucks??? That's the rumor I just heard

The return of the Cuda

The web site says as high as 9300lbs:eek: That's more than my bad boy Dodge. Hey Mike, what model is it?

No model ID on it anywhere. It is gasoline powered but I can’t see much of the engine looking from topside...

Rear tires (single) set out further than the front tires. That doesn’t work so well in snow..then all 4 tires get to break trail instead the front two only...

I will say this, these new Euro styled vans are light years ahead of the old E Series or GMC Savanna/Chevy Express. I've had quite a lot of seat time in E Series ambulances and light rescue units over the years. Going from those to my Sprinter for example is just night and day. With the exception of towing capacity, these new style vans are better in every way.

I’m sticking with the best van ever ever made. The ‘92-‘97 Dodge B van. Sheer perfection. Make mine a 250 with 5.9/518 lockup/Dana axle.

One reason for front drive is it eliminates the need for a rear driveshaft and allows for a lower floor (center of gravity, more usable interior space).

These vans seem to be holding up quite well. Our resident HVAC guy has nothing but praise for his fleet.

Five bolt wheels with 9,350 lbs GVW, that reminds me of the 1-ton Toyota mini truck, back in the day. Talk about pencil whipping.

These are finally starting to show up in Alaska. I was surprised to see them........then again, front drive is muuuuuuuch better than rear drive in snow. The Quigley conversion vans with 4x4 are convenient but very expensive when compared to the promaster and transit vans.
