We all know what these CTD's are meant to do but I just have to tell this story from the other side...
My Dad while on a road trip in his DOHC Lincoln is slowly gaining on a Ram pulling a horse trailer headed down a long hill.
He says to himself- dang that is one big trailer for that little pick up.
At the bottom of the hill there is a long straight and then a BIG LONG uphill. Dad looks ahead on the straight and see's he better make his move or he will be held up when they hit that hill so passes the Ram.
The Ram does a good job of keeping up and Dad thinks to him self that the driver is doing his best to get a run at the hill.
Keeping the Ram in his mirror he notices that the Ram is gaining on the uphill
being a nice guy he steps up the Lincoln to a brisk pace so as not to mess with the Rams run at the hill.
Next thing he knows is that is no run he has going there cuz this fella is now passing him like he was in Kia
Seems he was just keeping things safe on the down hill.
In the next town they were both due for a refuel and stopped at the same place so my Dad gets out and walks up past that long trailer counting all the horses then over to the owner and says... . what in the sam hill kind of motor you got in that pick up!
The fella just smiles and says just a Cummins with a little fine tuning
Now he knows why I love my truck so much.
