Have a few questions: On the following website, yes thats my truck (the two tone one). I am hoping go turn this into a functional hood. My Ideas are to go and get some flat stainless steel, or aluminum to glue to the bottom of the hood (I am thinking with that glue that they use on new vehichiles at the factory to seal where body pannels meet, like the floor of the bed to the inner bedside, just an idea) to block off the underneith of the hood, then bend up a (Duct) under the hood to go to the airbox, I dont know if I am goign to use a AFE, K&N, or use the stock air box. Obviously, my main consern is the water, and mabye I am having a blonde moment but, how could you keep the rain out, if you were driving down the interstate, even a butterfly would allow some water to reach the air box, (mabye I am wrong).

Now my :Questions: How do you keep water, bugs, (relatively low ammount of large dirt particels). Out of your air box and ultimately your motor. I have recently found where accel makes a conical filter which has a tube that connects to the end of it and allows users to fashion their own "ram air". Also, would this really gain me much, for the time, trouble, money, and maintainance that I am going to spend on this modification, is it goign to repay me with much benifit, ie: power, cooler temps, etc.
Thanks for any and all advice you can give me on this topic
