kwikspool,

This is the reason I am iffy on your product. The only person who has spoken up or initiated any threads on RAMIFIER is yourself, Fencebuilders, and me trying to get figures from different people besides you and Fencebuilders. COME ON SOMEONE SPEAK UP!!

Product seems like it is good. But just 2 people with input is kinda SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We use them

We here at Massdiesel have been selling them for sometime with excellent results. They are driveable not harsh power. They are 100 h. p. no more,no less if you want big power look at something else. It is a install and no adjustments needed after. We have had not one complaint yet.

I hear ya! Dont worry the word will get out,it just takes a while. ;) I have 2 buddies with big grins and permanent RAMifier installations, not to mention a couple more TDR members who have come by to give them a run. No negative comments that i have heard. Fine by me,i smile when i run with the EDGE trucks down the road. :D

Hey Scott, How's it going?

From you experience and expertice, Is the Ramifier a in cab adjustable box? Does it increase pressure? Or just modify timing and duration?

Take care, Big Bob

Hey bob

Hey Bob how are you and the wife, their is no adjustability in the box just easy driveable 100 h. p ,we really like them they do not make insane rail pressure or timing. Thats why we use it we do not care for the high rail pressures and it is a truly great driveable box give me a call if you have any questions.

I installed Ramifier today and the check engine light came on what can you do to fix this ? I thought this box doesn't throw codes .

Tanks ,Steve

Hello

1) have not tried to stack it with a ez.

2)Egts are very good in check

3) what code do you have just because you got a check engine light on doesnt mean that using a module caused it could be a connection, a issue inside the box manufactur flaw or damage ,a little research to see why it came on first is needed.

I didn't stack mine with a Edge box . I put the Ramifier on and code p-0113 came up . Do you think the Ram caused it .

Hey scott it looks like you favor the ramifer over some of the other boxes because of its rail pressures being lower. This is great: it sounds like you made a real desicion based on real facts -- can you tell us the real facts that formed the basis of this decision? What are the high rail pressures that you do not care for, and on what basis can we say that the ramifier does not achieve those?

code p-0113 is intake air temperature circuit high - smells like a hookup problem to me.

The Ramifier doesn't mess with that circuit, although YOU did, when you hooked it up. The IAT sensor

is part of the fuel pressure connector I think -- more than likely there was just a connection problem when you hooked everything up.

I suppose there is a chance that your ramifier was shipped with a wiring error. But the ramifier connector (if memory serves) simply does a pass through of IAT at the fuel pressure port.

thats right I don't think its the box itself. As long as everything's hooked up right I guess the only other thing it could be is a bad or damaged wiring harness/connector.

you want to go to chat?

DLeno

DLeno, I've never been in the chat before, don't even know if I know how. Anyway I took the Ramifier off and unhooked the batteries and the code went away. The code came back when I hooked the ramifier back up so that answered our ? ? Problem now is it won't go away . I unhooked the batteries and it didn't go away . How long do you have to leave the batteries unhooked

before your codes errase.

Steve

definately sounds like a wiring issue. the MAP sensor is a four pin sensor, boost and intake air temp sensor. if the wire is disconnected (faulty manufacturing) it will set a code. that particular circuit is a pass through. i would send it back for a replacement.
