I been reading many of the post and think it is time to change out the shocks soon.
Question
Which shocks the 5000s or the the 9000s ??
What is the difference?? I don't need another do-dad to watch in the cab. Most of my driving is with a light load in the bed and sometimes somewhere between 5 and 9000 on a trailer of one kind or another.
Thoughts.
See Ya

Dubuster, Go with the 9's. They give sooo much better ride and control. they should have come as the stock shock they make a big dif!. You wont regreet it.

I agree with Dave. The 9000's are better. One thing I would have done to them before installation though is to spray a coat of gloss white Rustoleum on them (before applying the decal). Mine have been on for less than one year and they are rusting already.

The 9000s is one of the best things I have put on the truck. I pull a travel trailer sometimes and before the 9000s there was a lot of bounce at the rear even with the spring bars . now when I tow it I adjust the front shocks to 5 and put the rear at 4 and get a good ride. when the truck is not towing or hauling I put the front at 3 rear at 1. The adjustments are made in less than 5 minutes.

I went w/ the 9s and have been very impressed. Custom setting for load and comfort. I run empty 3 setting in the front and 1 setting in the rear. When I tow a 15K 5th wheel, I set the fronts to 4 and the rears to 5. Wouldn't trade 'em for anything.
