Bob,

You might check with http://www.4wheelparts.com where I bought 4 Rancho 9000's for $269 with shipping included. I'm just a pore ole country boy from West Texas, but by my math, that's $67. 25 each including UPS ground freight. :D

Bob,

OK, sorry - guess I got confused. I thought this thread was about looking for the best deal on the Rancho 9000's.

By the way, we went with the Rancho 9000's because we had a problem with the rear of the truck "bouncing" when towing - setting the rears on 5 and the fronts on 4 cured that. When running unloaded, setting the rears on 2 and the fronts on 3 gives a much better ride than stock, yet with more control of the front end's tendency to "bounce". The adjustability of the Rancho 9000's was just what we needed for our application, and (IMHO) they were worth what we paid for them. YMMV. ;) Hope the Bilsteins work as well for you. :)

Ya that's what I thought as well. I have said it many times not all people like the same ride and what works for one doesn't always work for another and the Ranchos allow you to adjust to your liking. I wouldn't own any other shock at this point other than the Ranchos. As well if you use you truck for hauling big loads but still run empty you can adjust the shock for the load.

MDW if you don't mind me asking where did you get them.

Diese1nut Thanks for the info hope to see you next time you are in the area.

That's better than what I was thinking I guess it is his truck that is dead not him, that's a relief. MDW I am only looking for Rancho's, I think Bob was pointing out what you had for shocks. I am a little slow sometimes. lol

Just ordered them

I just ordered the Bilsteins BE5-2549 & BE5-2550 from SHOX.com on the internet. $249. 80, should have them in a week or sooner. I did this not because I hate the way the stock shocks ride, but I put Bilsteins on a 2001 Tundra 1/2 ton and the improvement over the stock ride was like WOW. Based on what everyone has said about the improvement they have experenced, I gotta have them :) Thanks all for the imput.

A little slow

Hey Blair, you’re not slow but just a little "thick headed". Ya know what they say... Your only as smart as the company you keep :D :D
