I need some help getting the right steering stabilizer for my 97 3500. It has two steering stabilizers on it from the factory, one that goes from the frame to the bar coming off the pitman arm, I replaced that one with a rs5404 and it fit great. I ordered a rs5403 for the one that runs from the axle tube to the bar that runs in front of my axle and that is where the problems started. First the book says that this is the suplementary stabilizer for my truck but the rancho one has studs on both ends while the stock one has the regular eyelets on both ends. The auto parts store even called rancho and they said that was the one I needed, i guess they dont know what they are talking about. I had to special order it and got charged $10 for shipping and 10% down which I cant get back and now I have to pay for a restocking fee of 10% too. Can somebody please tell me what the RIGHT number is on the replacement for the stock stabilizer that is connected to the axle tube.

I hope somebody knows the scoop it would be much appreciated.

Anybody want to buy a rs5403? LOL

thanks

Matt
