Can someone plase post a pic of the rancho traction arms installed-long bed. I am interested in these arms but wondered how they mount to the axle and how far they mount forward. An estimate on the price and comments would be great. thanks.

price

The next time I'm over at my parent's i'll check with the neighbor he works for Rancho's R&D. I've got to talk to him anyways about Rancho 9000 shocks.

I am mainly concerned with how they mount to the axle. Do you have to remove the sway bar? I don't want to have to lose the sway bar for the traction bars. Can somone post a pic of how they are situated on the axle?

i went to the site www.gorancho.com couldn't find a pic ...

i just went there again , did it last time at home with a sloooowwww connection ... i found a pic of what looks like a generic one , is that what you got six ???

They use a new lower axel U bolt plate. I had no interferance with my sway bar, but the plate must be modified to use it with a Dana 80... the kit is designed for a Dana 70

Where to buy

Where would you guys recommend purchasing Rancho traction bars?? Dawg-1 I remember you mentioning a place over near Mt Vernon or Marysville that carries them for a good price. I am looking for someone to possibly pick up a set to bring down to me at Rob's Pendleton get-together.

Dawg 1 & DF, which bars did you get for your truck? Dawg you gave me this info:

RS6671 = 58. 25"

RS6672 = 55. 5"

RS6673 = 51. 25"

As I recall you were thinking the RS6673 bars would fit my 2wd but I need to measure it first. I'm sorry I don't recall where I need to measure from :( . I went to Rancho's website and they only list the 1/2T 4x4 Ram and PN RS6671. So I would think the RS6672 bars would be the closest fit. What do you think?

EDIT

I did some crude calculations and it appears that changing the angle of the 55. 5" bar by 4" (to be equivalent to 2wd vs 4x4) results in a change of about 1" lengthwise. So, Dawg-1 & DF, can you tell me based on the location of the bracket up front, is there room to move it forward 1" & redrill it? What do you think? I think this will get me closer than going with a different length bar. Can you tell me exactly where the front mounts are installed?

Thanks again, Vaughn
