Just want to pass this on FYI. I've noticed a slight rattling in the truck for 4 or 5 months now. I first noticed after I had the 5'ver hitch installed, which was a couple of weeks after my wreck. I put it off to being the hitch. WRONG!!! I was under the truck tonight doing some eyeball work for a pusher pump install and I pushed up on the truck and I heard the knocking near by. I kept pushing and noticed some play in the left rear Rancho. A couple of turns on the wrench later, the knock is all gone. Whether it vibrated loose over time, or the way the truck slid and "landed" during the wreck was the cause, I don't know. A loose shock absorber isn't something you hear about every day. It probably ought to be planned maintenance to go over the truck front to back once a year and check all critical parts to make sure they are torqued down properly. This is the third thing I've had vibrate loose: the other two were the EGT probe, and about a third of the oil pan bolts.
