wsmalley,

I just purchased the Bilsteins from AutoZone. They did not have them in stock but only took 2 days to get them. 1907 & 1908 were $49. 95 each. Best price I could find.

Shock Feedback

I purchased Rancho's last year and had the impression they were really great. Replaced the fronts last night because the seals were blown out:mad: . I forget what I paid but it wasn't worth it !

I purchased the HD Bilsteins from O-R Warehouse. Installation is easy (or at least I think it is). :D

As far as ride quality, there is a HUGE difference and improvement between the two. No more Rancho for me . . . my only recommendation is to go with the Bilsteins. I'm not a big believer without trying first . . . save your $$ and go with the HD Bilsteins. :D :

Best of luck.

Rob

The Rancho warranty seems to vary a lot from dealer to dealer. In my case I've warrantied RS9000's through my dealer (local, not internet) and he swaps em out no questions asked. Only thing he won't swap them for is rust/finish. I've been running Rancho's for years and have been very happy with all of em.

Even though I've got the Rancho's on my truck, I really can applaud the Bilstein warrantee. After putting 150k miles on them in my car (don't even remember where I bought them), they were replaced without any proof of purchase. All that was necessary was my complaint. I merely had to order a new set from the distributer, and when the old set was returned, the credit was immediately applied to the credit card. They even wanted to know if the "progressive springs" were needing replacement as well.
