Hi just posting to say that I love my 12 valve over the 24 valve I had, However, I have a few quick questions,

Truck is a 95' club cab long bed, auto, now the mods... ...

370's, 370 marine delivery valves, #8 cam plate, 3KGSK, boost elbow thingy, Gauges galore, 16 degrees timing, afc housing practacally disabled, plate in stock orentation. And now the BAD..... 8mpg :{ :{ :{

Do you guys think thats normal, and yes I have heavy right foot itis ;) ????

Im going to Ohio Tech in July and I might have to do something about this abysimal miliage lol not to mention the lack of a legal inspection because of the "black out effect" of too much fuel, not enough air lmao.

No way is that normal, you probably have a fuel leak somewhere or something. I can tromp it around off of every stop sign, red light, ETC and not get less than 15. The worse mileage I got so far is 16. 3 MPG and thats with 295/75 rubber on there which took me down 1 MPG from the 265's I was running.
 
Ok well I'm gonna look into the fuel system soon anyways as I am going to install a re-located racor fuel filter and replace ALL of the fuel lines. What else could be causing my bad fuel economy?????

EGT's can get up there as I havent installed my new turbo yet so I am running on the stock one for now, I cruse around at like 65 to 70 but I am mostly just driving locally not too much on the highway, and my boost is over 30 as it pegs my 30 psi gauge lol.

I got about that milage when i cut my stock plate . I ran with out one for 3 days. you baisicly have twice the fuel you need and half the air my guess is that turbo runs at choke point after it spools up. even things out get that turbo on there and enable the afc. Im all about smoke but after three days of 8 mpg I decided to reduce my newly found dependence on foren oil. good luck in school.
