Ranges for gauges

I am going to purchase a SRT A pilar and would like an EGT/Boost gauge. My truck has not been BOMBed and probably will not be as I do not have a need for additional power (yet).



Will the Westac be good enough or should I get the HO version.

Stock truck will see 22-25 psi boost max. Stock turbo can support 35-40 psi max if you decide to add a box.

I can peg my stock 600 at 32 lbs boost - go for the 0-60 gauge.

I installed an autometer with the srt 10 a pillar-- very nice setup.

Gauge range is 0-35. When I twist it in fourth or fifth the boost slams to 32lbs then drops back to about 29 lbs as I reach 3k RPM. Stock and staying there. Avg MPG 16. 4/ 17. 2-- 4500 on the clock. Overhead is off appox. 1. 3 mpg (low)



Paying 1. 54/9 in S. C.

Bombed or not the manufacturers alwasy reccomend that you get a gauge that will have at least 25% more range than you will ever use. That way the gauge is in the most accurate zone for the us ethat you will use it for. I would get the 60 PSI, you can always bomb that way, and you are still using over 50% of the range even stock. We have all the Auto Meter's and also the Dipricol's that match the new dashes call us if you have any questions etc.
