For those of you who have this pump how and where did you mount the pump? The instructions leave a lot to be desired. I cannot find a decent place to fit the pump anywhere. The suppied mounting brackets are a joke. They don't seem to fit right anywhere. It also seems like the pump was designed backwards if you want to mount the pump between the frame rails rather than on the outside.

The instructions state that it cannot be mounted upside-down. So does any one have suggestions on how to mount and install the pump. I would rather not drill holes in the frame, but if I have to, then I have to.

TIA

I have one. Mounted on the outside of the drivers side frame, kinda just below the drivers seat. The inlet and outlet point in the right direction at that location and there is a small opening where the supplied brackets will work. I believe it is just behind the cab mount bracket. Good luck.

X2 w/ mine also (Raptor 100).....

Oh ok

I got a little different hardware setup. I think i have a spot, configuration setup picked out. I really don't like running fuel lines outside the frame rail, but if that how it has to be done, then so be it.

Thanks again guys!!

There's a dealer in town that makes a bracket that turns the pump around, and as I recall it's about $20 for the mounting setup. I can confirm it if you'd like.

Here's what it looks like: in the mini diagram below 'F' is the frame and the bracket is on the inside of it (where you'd probably like it):

F|

F|... ... ------

F|... ... | O |

F|___Pump_|

That lip on the innermost part has four holes to mount the pump, and when mounted this way faces with the inlet to the rear, and outlet towards the engine.

I have a 100GPH version with this mount - and it works great.

I can PM you the info if you'd like to get the bracket.
