There should not be power on the yellow unless you bumped the starter.No the tan is still plugged in to the old lift pump harness. I didn’t change anything.

if that’s the case how does the pump cycle prior to bumping starter when it’s just in run position??
Put everything back to original wiring.
Normal, the relay does not energize during cranking and the pump does not run. If the engine starts relay energizes and pump runs. If the engine does not start the relay stays energized and pump runs for 30 seconds then it all shuts down.While cranking the tan wire shows 108mv on my meter.

Did you check the ground wire for the pump for continuity?
If you hard wired it - it must run, pop the fuse or just burn up.
One of this 3 will happen that way, IF the circuit is intact.
