Curious about the Raptor Fueling module. Did a search and did not see any definitive information on the High HP claims.

Anyone Dyno one of these? Consensus seems to be its a rebadged reprogrammed EZ. Did EZ really leave 15 HP and over a 100lbs. of Torque on the table?

Is there more potential for VP-44 damage with this thing than with a stock EZ?

Thanks

It is just a rebadged EZ. I did some testing a little over a year ago on some of the boxes and if memory serves me right the predator did about 8 HP more than the EZ, torque I'am not sure about but I would say it is no way another 100 LBft higher.

I doubt if you would have to worry about the vp44 with either box. The boxes that tap into the pump wire are the ones you have to be careful with. My understanding with the boxes that tap the pump wire is if your pump is going to fail it will do it within the first few times the box is turned on if it doesn't take a dump by then the vp44 probably won't, but extra stress on mechanical parts always leads to shortened life span.

There is a difference in the box programming, at least for the HO. I understand EZ backed off the HO engine early on from reading posts about the HO dyno numbers. The shop where I got my Raptor recommended it over the EZ for the ETH. I've never tried the EZ, but the raptor is very smooth throughout the RPM range. By that, I mean no surging or power spikes. I can't speak for the total gain in HP between the two, but the Raptor is a very strong box.
