Rare Combination? I Think So...

Well the '03 Heavy Duty truck have been out for a while, and I would say that at least 90% of them are Quab Cab 4x4s... Seen a few regular cab trucks, all of which are 4x4, mostly with automatics...



Then of course, there is my combination, termed by a friend of mine as the "Evan Beck Special," or in other words, something nobody would want! *LOL*



Here's what I have...



2003 2500 HD, 4x2, 6-speed, High Output, Regular Cab, in Graphite Metallic. Oops, almost forgot to add that its a Sport, and has the Taupe interior, which is rare from what my dealer tells me. Towing mirrors and cab lights too...



When I ordered this truck, my salesman commented that it's the most rare combination of an '03 (or any truck) that he's ever heard of.



Anyone else have a rare combination?



Just for comparison, my '01 is also a rare combination:



2001 2500 HD, 4x2, 6-speed, High Output, QC, shortbed, Dark Garnet Red with Driftwood lower break, and cab lights. Pretty rare, but not like the '03...

Good for you !! You knew what you wanted and didn't let someone sell you different. When I went to by my 01 the dealer said "I will have it tomarrrow" Later that day she called me back with " I will have to order it. Nobody has that combination "

that is red - 2wd, std cab, plain Jane - she got her for $23,450 3 weeks ago.

98. 4 QC LWB 6 Spd... Yes, I did a conversion, but I can win bets all the time, because people ask what kind of truck I drive, and I tell them its a 98 6 speed, and they dont believe me... I tell them I will bet them money, and usually its,"ok, you dont know what you are talking about" I never said I did a conversion! hahaha, anyways, I like that rare setup Evan! Be original! That's the only way to go!

I have a rare combination. Part is the truck and a big part is the driver!



My '85 Nissan Z is one of about 10 that were made with the fog light setup that I have. It made it difficult to get parts, I can tell you that!

add manual windows and locks, and a rubber floor. with the stock good stereo. They dont make very many work truck interiors with the good radio.

I have a 96 KIWI 2500 4 x 4. Don't know how many were built, but I haven't seen another just like it. I have several $$$$ work the extra's and most like the color now. When new w/o any adds many DID NOT like the color. Very easy to keep clean and cool in hot weather.

Anyone ever seen a Ram in the fire orange color? I saw one once, longbed 2500 Sport. I think they only made it for a half year, '01. 5.

Evan-- if you mean that amber firemist color---kinda orange metallic pearl---there's one that parks next to the columbia tower nearly every weekday morning---its a std. cab 1500 sport and really stands out!!! I love that color!!!
