2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission "Rattle" from tranfer case (4x4) shifter...

On my 96 Dodge Ram CTD 4x4, I hear a "rattling" noise from the trasfercase (4x4) shifter, inside the cab. I read somewhere there is a fix for that..... How can I fix this and stop that annoying "rattling" sound?

Try bending the tab it worked for me. First chance to post pic from new digital camera. Let's see how this goes.

Nice pic. ! That came out great (and thanks for the advice). Is that picture from under the truck, looking up? Or from in the cab, looking down @ the shifter? Looks like you bend the tab out twrds. the trans. case or trans. housing, right? Oo.
