Rattle in door=mirror popping???

I have been noticing a popping noise in the drivers door. Upon investigation the dow mirrors make a popping noise and it is transmitted to the door. I can wiggle the mirror and it goes away for a while. Anyone with a solution? I have not seen a TSB on this one... but someone said something about a washer... Thanks

This was talked about before. It was also in Issue 45, page 48. It is the pivot points that pop. I used graphite lubricant on mine and it solved the problem.

Mine did that too. . Check the bolts that hold it to the door there should be three of them, 1 exposed when door is open an two under the door panel. . 1 was loose on mine... Fixed the problem. .
