Rattle/vibration in steering.

Recently started noticing a rattle in the steering. Seems to be more noticeable when turning or going around a curve. Its very slight but is becoming worse. I think I have traced it to the bottom joint of the steering shaft. Everywhere else has no play at all. Anyone had this yet, or am I just lucky.

You should rotate your tires and see if it gets better!

My 1997 Dodge ram 1500 went through three steering shafts. The steering felt loose when making turns and if you hit some bumps it was worse. It started out slightly noticeable and became much worse with time. Just reach in and grab the steering shaft and pull up and down. There should be little to no movement. Mine were pretty loose.
