I got my order yesterday. Good job Ray. Now I have two sets in case I run into a problem on the road. I moved one of my senders to the tapped bolt I mounted at the injection pump, removed the brass 90's at the fuel filter housing and put the other sender on the housing inlet port. Readings: startup - 8 psi, cruising @ 60 - 7 psi, WOT - 4 psi. The readings from the sender at the injection pump were interesting. Startup - 8 psi, cruising @ 60 - 6 psi, WOT - dropped to 1 psi and stayed there. What really has me puzzled is that after running the truck, the idle pressure goes to 10 psi on both senders, but not at initial startup:rolleyes: WOT speed was 90 mph and climbing. I ran out of road, which was a good thing as there was a cop looking for speeders  Good thing he was facing the other way. I wish I could have checked boost and EGT, but I would need three more eyes :D

Ray's banjo bolts

Got my set of 5 yesterday. They look great. Will put them in this weekend. I know this has been asked before, but what are the correct torque settings for them??

I got mine this morning and got started putting them in before the UPS Guy started up the drive. Mine are Great, however my injector pumps threads arent as deep as the bolt is long. I'm working on this and posted in products forum, to see if anyone else has had this happen on a 99 injector pump. Ray has already e- mailed me and I'll call him tomarrow to see if I can just saw it of or send it in and have Ray Shorten it. These bolts are Top Quailty and have me wondering what other improvements he can build for us. :D :D :D :) TJ

Got mine a few days ago. They look great. Does anyone know where I could get a fitting that would allow the dealer to hook up their test gauge and allow me to re-hook up my sender? TIA

Tom

John ,

What type of gauge and sender are you using. I'm using mechanical gauges, I have 2 Holly 0-15, A snap- on 0-30 Fuel Preasure test gauge and a MAC 0-30 and a Precision 0-100 all in 1# increments and the all give the same readings with in 1# Plus or Minus

Start up 10# key cycle

Idle 10 drops to 8

WOT Drops to 7-6#s

Gauges installed on Lift Pump Inlet on top of fuel filter canister in a tapped bolt from Ray

Idle outlet pres. 7#s

WOT outlet drops from 7#s to 3#s

I dont know for sure but larger Banjo Bolt holes may decrease presure and increase volume.

Mybe TXRAM Can advise

that's what I was thinking

I'm using Stewart Warner gauges and senders. I was getting fluctuation from the sender mounted at the injection pump. I have it mounted at the same place but am using a grease gun hose as a snubber. Got the idea from fellow TDR member dresslered. Fluctuations are gone. I'm not sweating the drop to 1 psi. The truck never misses, bucks, burps, farts, hesitates or commits any other bodily secretions that may come to mind.

They look Great! real nice work!

Hope you can sell enough to make it worth your while.

Just think if Cummins started buying them from you for new production!
