I wouldn't mind an RB4 just for the display and nevermind the NAV. But I would lose my current 6-cd changer so I'd need an external one. I also have the factory Sirius radio and steering wheel controls.

Does anybody have a setup like that? Factory Sirius, steering wheel controls, and external CD changer? Is that plug and play? I want everything to still work the same way with the steering wheel controls.

Thanks.

Wife has the RB1 in her mini-van it has a DVD/CD changer that according to my measurements is the same as the cubby we have in the trucks. So either it would be a perfect fit designed that way from Dodge or very slight modification to make it work, then once that is mounted an add on video screen can be installed so all said and done it looks like for $2000 you can add the good nav radio, cd changer and video entertainment all with stock Dodge pieces.

Hey, if 30 of us split the cost of the update, that's only $10 each! :D

Has anyone heard of a release date for the update? They are supposed to update once a year and my dvd is dated July 2004.

I emailed a seller on eBay who moves the current 05064033AC / July 2004 RB1 disk asking if / when they'll be coming out with updates. He said (and this scared me), "if they do, they'll probably be out close to the end of the year... . " I hope they don't orphin this thing already. I just got it.
