I just got finished with the install of the UConnect Hands free system and performed the operational check and have come up with one problem... that is with the navigation system on the RB4. For some reason the head unit is telling me "Navigation system is not active". Because of this, I get no time of the day, GPS coordinates, etc. Part of the install was to take out the main wiring harness from the RB4 and replace it with the wiring harness that came with the UConnect system... by the way, this UConnect system is a MOPAR product. I have connected and reconnected the harness twice and come up with the same error. I load my NAV CD and the unit doesn't recognize it. I know this because when I look in the Version section of the NAV options menu it's telling me that there is no NAV CD loaded. I have even reset the NAV system calibration and it still doesn't work. This wiring harness, by the way, connects the RB4 to the UConnect system and to the rest of the external parts of the UConnect system (microphone, speaker, etc. ). Last but not least, just to make sure that the wiring harness that came with the UConnect system was good or bad, I disconnected it and connected the original harness back to the RB4 and it still doesn't work.
Anything that y'all can think of, would surely by appreciated!
Thanks,

For what it's worth, all the harnesses are good to go, the connector on the radio has no bent pins. The GPS just doesn't function and I'm not sure if there is a connector to make in functional again or if it is all internal in the radio. If it is internal, is there a "reset" button? Maybe then it will work. I'm at a total loss! I know if I take it to my local dealership they probably will be more clueless than I am.
Once again, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Jack
