Am I the only one who has had problems with pressure on the Holley Blue series???? I am only getting 9 psi, it is drawing 2. 5 AMPS, 12 volts, it is mounted right on the frame rail almost directly under the stock LP. Should it be closer to the tank? I am so frustrated with this thing, I have done everything trying to get the 14 psi out of it.

you didn't get your answer last time you asked?

Some people are claiming GREAT luck with the Holley "black" pump. I think the answer is the PE4200. :)

All the times I've seen the Holley Blue pump used it's been mounted close to the tank and I haven't heard of any problems. That's the way I've been taught. Of course these have been on race cars. The book I have shows the Holley Blue to be preset at 14psi and flows 70 gph while maitaining 9psi line pressure.

Have you tried mounting it close to the tank to see if it helps?

Andrew, Are you talking about me?

I'm not claming Great luck with the pump as it's only been on the truck for 18+ months.

Bigstick, Your not going to get 14psi out of the pump no mater what you do. With the 815 BLACK on my truck, I only see 12/12. 5 @ idle. It is rated @ 120GPH @ 9psi. I would move it back on the frame rail next to the tank.

How are you powering the pump?

I read on the other site that Rod is thinking of stocking them at Wildcat Diesel. That means that you are not the only one who is successfull with it. :)
